Trust

It has been misplace, misused & misunderstood
It has been taken lightly, destroyed, killed & taken for granted
It can be earned, won & deserved
It can be given, received & denied
Many have tried to regain it
Even more have lost it completely
It is wanted & it is refused
It can be given with limitations
or completely with faith
It can be blindly given
or tentatively received
It is, and can be, many things
but without love,
trust is really nothing at all.
